Canadians Volunteer United in Action, known as CANAVUA has shifted gears due to the Coronavirus to move its food program from people in need going to their office at La Cite Francophone in the South of Edmonton, to delivery at the homes of the needy.

Supported by Edmonton Food Bank, on Wednesday May 5, 2020, they did their first home delivery, 610 kg of food delivered to 15 homes. They look forward to home deliveries every Wednesday and will continue with home delivery due the change as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

On a chat with Dicky Dikamba, the Executive Director and Founder of CANAVUA told Diversity Magazine that the next delivery is scheduled for May 13, and will appreciate help. Those in need of food or want to give a hand; volunteers, drivers, can email info@canavua.org, or go to their website, www.canavua.org
