“Very helpful as I’m a single mum, a full time student, my son plays football, with three more years to graduate…,” Amanda shared with Diversity Magazine.

“…this shows that I’m doing the right thing, being praised, it helps towards my tuition for my Bachelors in Social Work…my son can now do activities…,” Andrea celebrated with Diversity Magazine.

“…very helpful, it makes me feel like I’m not alone. I have some support. As a single mum who relies on loans, this will help towards my tuition in my undergraduate program in Psychology…,” Jennifer Zimmerman expresses her excitement.

“…an amazing opportunity to meet other women making a difference. I want to graduate debt free. Every semester, I’m 7K into debt but this will help me graduate debt free. Receiving the awards in front of my children shows that I’m a role model for them…,” Jennifer Lee, proud and confident.

The Joy Award went to Josephine Enero Pallard, who excitedly shared her appreciation, “…Soroptimist is a great organization as they empower women. For me, it is an honour and I’m humbled and honoured with this privilege of being the awardee for the year…”.
